Rogers Arrested for Gun Possession

Browns president Mike Holmgren will take no action on Shaun Rogers’ gun possession arrest until the legal process runs its course. No charges have been filed yet, though Holmgren’s statement Thursday served to confirmed that this was not an April Fools story.

Eagles Sign Mike Bell to an Offer Sheet

Nathan Nau Eagles signed restricted free agent RB Mike Bell to a one-year, $1.7 million offer sheet with $500,000 guaranteed. The Saints will have seven days to match the offer. Based on the low tender and Bell’s disappointing finish down the stretch last year, the Saints will likely decline to match the guaranteed money. The 27-year-old would provide a physical, inside complement to LeSean McCoy in Philly.
Janikowski Signs Monster Deal
