Ronnie Brown Arrested for DUI

Nathan Nau The Miami Herald reports that Ronnie Brown was arrested in Atlanta late Friday night on suspicion of DUI. Brown was initially pulled over for changing lanes without signaling and “did not perform well” during field-sobriety tests. Brown has no prior record or history of off-field issues, so this shouldn’t lead to an NFL suspension. It may, however, affect the Dolphins’ view of Brown as he enters a contract season. The team begins its offseason conditioning program on Monday.

Vikings on the Verge of Extending Childress?
November 19th, 2009 Nathan Nau CBS Sports’ Clark Judge and ESPN’s Adam Schefter both report that the Vikings are on the verge of signing coach Brad Childress to an extension.
