Each week I will fearlessly predict the outcomes of all the NFL games on the schedule. To date, I hold a record of 23-12 and I’m a shade behind the leading ESPN expert, Mortensen, with a prediction rate of 67% to 70%. Here are the picks for this week:
Washington @ Atlanta
Prediction: Atlanta 21, Washington 10. The Washington Redskins avoid a blowout due to the Falcons running attach eating away at the clock.
Arizona @ Chicago
Prediction: Arizona 24, Chicago 17. The Bears have been a disappointment this season.
Baltimore @ Cincinnati
Prediction: Baltimore 17, Cincinnati Bengals 13. The Ravens win a tough game on the road.
Houston @ Indianapolis
Prediction: Houston 31, Indianapolis 28. In my upset of the week, the Texans will finally break through and end the Colts perfect season.
Miami @ New England
Prediction: New England 28, Miami 17. The Patriots continue to build momentum.
Green Bay @ Tampa Bay
Prediction: I don’t see how the Bucs can win this game?
Kansas City @ Jacksonville
Prediction: Jacksonville 17, Kansas City 12. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Chiefs pulled out a mild upset on the road.
Detroit @ Seattle
Prediction: Seattle 35, Detroit 10. Look for the Seahawks offense to roll in this one.
Carolina @ New Orleans
Prediction: New Orleans 40, Carolina Panthers 17. I might have to count the total number of Panther turnovers on two hands after this game is over.
San Diego @ New York Giants
Prediction: New York Giants 21, San Diego 20. The Giants get back on track against a one-dimensional passing team.
Tennessee @ San Francisco
Prediction: San Francisco 17, Tennessee 9. The 49ers are very tough against the run and the Titans will have problems moving the ball in this contest.
Dallas @ Philadelphia
Prediction: Dallas 35, Philadelphia 28. This one could go either way.
Pittsburg @ Denver
Prediction: Pittsburg 24, Denver 10. The Broncos where exposed against a good Ravens team last week. Well, here comes a better version.
